Window Blinds or Object Desktop ??? What is best Ryan 8024?

I appreciate all the advice in previous messages. Just one more request. Is it best to go ahead and get the Object Desktop system and as you say "explore" each program individually ... or ... just start with Window Blinds and add each other component later on? You sound like an apprentice with vast knowledge so I appreciate your recommendation. Thanks again!

Can I jump in here? In the long run, if you enjoy customizing your computer, then Object Desktop would make more sense, if only from a financial point of view.
You could go ahead and buy just WindowBlinds, and then discover the delights of DesktopX and ObjectBar etc. and realise you want them too!

Go on, treat yourself! (and anyway, if you get DesktopX you can download some of my themes!)

Thanks for the advise,BoXXi. I believe I will take your advise. I am downloading the trial version of Window Blinds this evening to see what I am in store for, but I tend to agree with you, financially it makes the best sense. I promise to make some of your themes my first to download! Thanks!

Go with the whole OD package. I made the mistake of orignally purchasing just WindowBlinds (back when it was 1.3). Then I upgraded to WindowBlinds 2.x. Finally, because I liked the product so much I upgraded to OD. If only I had done that in the first place I would have saved half my money since the first two combined cost about the same as the last one.

Now it's just OD renewal after renewal etc....
