Considering a purchase: Question about updates

I am considering the purchase of either:

1) A couple of specific applications.

2) Object Desktop

I'm having some issues finding an answer regarding updates. I know that updates are included for one year with an Object Desktop subscription but are any updates included with the purchase of individual applications? For example, if I purchase Fences is it purely the current version with no minor version updates? Am I purchasing the major version (i.e. updates until 3.0)? Something in between?

I would love to just pay for Object Desktop but at the price with the number of applications I will actually use (probably just fences and start8) I'm not sure that the price is really worth it. Wish I would have gotten paid before the sale went off though!

Many find that they use programs in the suite that they didn't think they would.

Thankfully, there is a discount if you upgrade from a stand-alone app to ODNT.  Any way you go . . you win.
