How can I access the "Search" option in Litestep?

I'm using the Simplicity theme for Litestep, and I want to know how I can access the "Search" program? You know, the one on the Start bar? The one that lets you find files on your computer? Yeah, that one. How can I access it, and how can I make a shortcut for it in my menus or taskbar?

solution 1: use an alternative file finder (more advanced than the default windows one). download file . zip from here: http://www.shellfront.org/utils/

solution 2: the find module provides a !bang command to lauch the default search dialog. get it from here: http://www.shellfront.org/modules-list.php#f

I should have said this before, but I'm a new user to Litestep. I've had it only two weeks or so, and haven't been able to fool around with it much. Thing is, I don't really know what a !bang command is or does or how to install it and stuff. Could you explain just a bit?

And thanks for answering.

I downloaded the finder.zip file you said and it is great. Faster, at least, than the Windows finder.

Now, a quick question: how can I put a shortcut to it in my taskbar?

have a look at the LSDocs. they should be in the help or docs folder in your LiteStep directory. if you dont find them look here: http://lsdocs.shellfront.org/config.php it is explained very well and in a much more proper english than i would be able to.
