It's not hard "Wise" if you lose all you stuff a couple of times and have to redownload your stuff because your (me) too much of a dumb ass to back your stuff up. Because of this, i am over 300megs >

Obviously you haven't done you homework. If you had you would know that those that do contribute to this site in a meaningful and mature way are not restricted by a download limit, whether you have paid anything or not. In reading your above post it is doubtful your attitude would ever warrant that!

btw - How did you pay for your computer, internet connection, etc., etc... ?

Man i'm really getting tired of these "greedy people" coming here and crying about a download cap. No one is making you people buy anything. You keep taking and taking and taking but you give nothing back. How shameful. All you have to do is contribute back by being involved. Commenting, helping on message boards with newbies, submit something to the site, and lastly yes Subscribing to Wincustimize or registring Object Desktop or other Stardock programs so get with it Man!

We should probably put more effort into getting the word out that you can contribute in other ways (making skins, themes, icons, making intelligent comments, participating in the message boards, helping users on IRC, etc.).

elvee I know about backing things up now too, my HD failed on me,but I was luckey I had a lot of stuff on CD's It's just taking a long time to put it all back

I buy the Windows Blinds program from a local store, and I only got version 3.0 and I cannot get the updates because I am not registered with the website... and I have tried to find where I do that. Also...where are the 100 themes as advertized on the box at ? I already paid $29.95 for the program and try to browse themes and all I get is "Server Busy". Is this program really worth the trouble? To top that, I have to pay an additional $20 for the website so I can get the promised 100 themes ?

Since you bought it at a store, rather than online email Stardock [email protected]. I'm sure they'll be glad to help you out and set up so that you can download updates The only thing is, this is the weekend so you may not get a response til Monday.

You do not have to pay an additional $20.00 for the website. There is a maximum download cap of 100 meg for people who just wander into this website and don't contribute. Since you purchased a Stardock product (WindowBlinds) this does not apply to you . However, as I said, you need to email them with your WindowBlinds registration information so they can set you up in their database.

The 100 extra themes are on the CD.
