Sins of a Solar Empire (The Original)

I recently got a new computer and the first game I put on there was Sins of a Solar Empire. I play the game and it is just like I remember it and everything. But, I decide to check for updates and Gamestop asks me to go through all these account updates and whatnot. But I eventually update my game. I go to play it and it asks me to register again but it won't let me submit my registration for the game I've owned since before diplomacy. I emailed support like a month ago sent them pictures of my problem and still have heard a thing back. The game will work when I uninstall it and reinstall it without the stupid freaking updates but then I can't do online play like I want to.

Well, that there is the difference between Stardock and GameStop Support.... I'm just not so sure Stardock Support can do much for you as you got the game through GameStop:

That would suggest to me, GameStop is your first and LastStop.  :S

Actually I was registered completely through stardock but it said some bull about Gamestop and how I had to update my account to there or something. It's all very confusing to me.

Best I can advise is write to [email protected] .

I don't think your situation is unique, and maybe they can advise you to do something you didn't do... just be sure to give them all the details, then keep the 'auto-reply' as it has your ticket number. Then, don't write again until you hear from an actual person or your request for help will be kicked to the end of the queue.
