Problem with DesktopX and Windows 98 SE

When I click on the "Desktop-Button" which minimizes all the open windows all objects on my desktop are invisible When I minimize every window manually the objects are there.....
Is there a solution to this problem?

That's because Windows's minimize button doesn't really minimize windows. It really covers the desktop with a fullsize window that displays the desktop background/wallpaper. DesktopX has a minimize action that truly minimizes all the windows (and leaves your desktopX objects alone). You can create a desktopx object and have it to this.

thanks for your help!

Can you tell me what I need to create such a object? If I make a object with "System" - "Show Desktop" I can only place it on my desktop but then I have to minimize all open windows again like before-is there a way to place this object in my shortcut bar on the bottom of the screen so it minimizes all open windwos correctly?
