Suggestion please??

I am looking for a windows management system for Windows 7. My work requires about 8 windows open and dual monitors. Some windows need to be thumbnails, and some simply a file list. They each need to be in a certain position and size on my desktop. Windows 7 does NOT remember window size and position! Therefore I spend a good 20 minutes every day I start working.

Stardock probably has a program that does exactly what I need. I do not need bells and whistle and extra doodads, just a windows management system. Which program would you recommend?

I have not used Tiles, but that might be something to look at.  I would also check out DisplayFusion and compare and contrast it's functionality with Tiles/Fences.  I use Fences and Display Fusion.  Also if you need a good file manager to replace Windows Explorer, I would recommend XYExplorer.

No, I don't think so. Tiles does a great job of organizing folders that are open... but that is not what I need. The desktop layout is what I need to save, so when I open folders they return to the same size and position.
