Well I am new and i was unsure about how you DL the windblinds and install them... well in know how to DL em but i didnt want to put them in the wrong directory. I was wondering if there was a link where i could get info on how to install on all the programs the site here has to offer

P.S. even though i havent gotten anything done this site is officially on my favorites list and i will tell any and everyone about it!

Everyone has their own way of doing things. First off, whatever you want to download, look up to the top of the catagory and it will tell you what program you need to run it. Second(I have a dump or download folder) right click on the download and then the box comes up click on the save target as and tell it where you want to save it to. I save it to my dump or download file, that way I know where it is. Go to that file and double click on it. Then it depends on what you downloaded as to what you need to do from there. When you get to that stage put in a specific guestion and someone will help you.(It might even be me).

Well on this site with WindowBlind skins they will download to the right directory.

well i must say i am trying to learn the difference between some of these things but the question i was reffering too was the windblinds! I was trying to get windblinds to work. I dl one the ur selections and i put it into a folder labled "WIN". Well when i go there and double click on it it askes how i want to open up the file or rather what program i would use and there i stay at a "stand still" please help me someone and please do not tell me that this isnt accesible for win98 because in DL.com it says it is........please!

At the top of the page (in each section of this site) there is a link to the program you need to use those skins/themes. To use WindowBlinds skins, you need the program WindowBlinds. You can get it here: http://www.windowblinds.net

Assuming you have WindowBlinds installed already, open your Display Properties. In Windows 98 you will have a Skins tab there with an Add button on it. Click the Add button to browse for the skin you downloaded. Once you have added it, you no longer need to keep the file you downloaded. Hope that helps.
