Wallpaper suggestion

The desktop area is the most used and visited of the workbench.In order to make this area as clean as possible,I think a wallpaper have to leave blank the left hand of the desk(isn't good to disfigure a nice girl or a landscape with the icons).Another solution is to occupy only the center of the desk,in this hand the wallpaper become more symetric and balanced.Doesn't it sound nice?
What do you think about this?

Well, not everyone uses desktop icons...

...and not everyone who uses desktop icons runs them down the left side like a default windows install...

...but I agree that there should be some obviously blanked space, or at least non-attention-grabbing, where you can load your icons if you use them...

I love these three little dots...

I personally don't like wallpaper with obvious spots for icons. If it's subtle, such as just a naturally less detailed area, then that's different.

I do use the desktop as a temporary holding area for downloaded files, but aside from that, I like to keep it clean (not even a trash can).
