Audio Configuration Screen does not appear at all on Secondary machine

The configuration screen for the primary machine shows Computer / Settings / Audio / Help.

My secondary machine configuration screen only shows Computer / Help

The primary configuration screen under "Audio" indicates that I need to put the computer ID and passcode in the secondary configuration to "send" the audio, but there is no place to do that on the secondary machine.

I also tried to include screenshots.  The images appear on the post edit screen and the post preview screen, but when I post to the forum, the image is converted to base 64 encoding, and all that appears on the post are the random characters that used to be an encoded image.

Please advise

Is the secondary computer running Windows XP?

Windows XP does not support audio sharing.

If not, make sure you have connected via Multiplicity to the secondary once since you activated the primary computer.

Got it - yes, secondary machine is running XP.

Didn't realize this was a Windows 7 only feature.

Thank you

Windows 8, 7, or Vista.

It is just XP thats too old to support it unfortunately.

I just upgraded to MP2 (after realizing the Oct deadline issue) ... and I WAS having the same problem - but I FIGURED IT OUT.  I activated my Primary and can see the audio options, but after I installed MP2 on Secondary, and configured as Secondary - the AUDIO tab did not appear.  The FIX:

1. CHANGE your secondary Machine from "Secondary" to "Primary"

2. Activate/Register/Enter serial number.

3. the AUDIO tab will then appear.

4. SWITCH BACK to "Secondary" configuration and the Audio tab will remain.

5. Configure to send/receive audio and it should work.

NOTE:  Bug? - I noticed that whenever I use the Plain computer name shown.... it never finds the machine, but when I enter IP address it works?
