please help me, disappering taskbar

help me please. i installed windowsblinds and desktop x and then my taskbar is gone and i can't get it back, i remove both software and it is still gone, please help this is not my computer, i am using win 2000, i email the people who make over over 2 weeks ago and they have not got back to me.

Can you see any trace of your taskbar? For example - a thin line at the botttom of your screen? Is your taskbar set to "auto-hide"? I have never totally lost a taskbar running Windows 2000 or any other version. Sometimes, when using other programs to alter the GUI my taskbar has been set to auto-hide without me setting it that way.

I tried setting the auto hide, it makes no different

Press the Winkey to get the start menu up, then press alt+space. Then try sizing the menu. You may also be able to move it to another edge of the screen.
