DXtoys.dll

Does anyone know why the "Goto Next" and the "Goto Previous" do the exact same thing when you are editing a cusom class for an object? I have winamp controls, but I cannot get DXtoys to actually go to the next song, it always goes to the previous one. Any ideas? Thanks in advance...

I have a problem of performance-meters disappearing after every other restart. The objects are still there and configured, but they seem to be invisible... Maybe someone can help here, too. (Using DXToys 5.01)

DXToys + WB seems ok on my home winXP machine. i just dont know what i am doing with DXToys though.

as for performance meters, you could try the SDTaskManager plugin.

are your disapearing meters in DX or OB?

there is a known display problem with some meters and OB 1.21 which is apparently being looked into.

I wanted to use DXToys for my new DX theme. Have to give SDTaskmanager a try...

Perhaps it is WB-theme dependent... Will try that, too.

what problem are you getting with DXToys?

on my work machine most of the field lables in the config screen are unreadable. looks like black words on a black background.

however they are quite readable on my home machine.

there is a newsgroup posting about this problem, but it seemed to suggest this had been solved in 5.0.1, but i am still getting the problem.

DXToys looks like it does more than SDTaskManager, but if all you want is performance meters, then i have found SDTaskManager to be quite wonderful.

In DX Toys-configuration I can see everything. But the meters are invisible with WB running. SDT crashes my XP machine badly (exeption error)... I had 20 windows with this error on my screen, coming up every second... Had to end DX by task manager...

Happens when double clicking 'background' or 'grid' (was figuring out, how it works...) And now an access violation when setting the grid size. Setting it to 0 completely crashes the machine...

thats not good

to get rid of the grid in SD, try making it the same colour as the background. should work (in theory)

as for working out SD, there is a downloadbale help file. hit the help icon and it will fetch it for you. most useful i found.

Well the plugins are causing me heavy headaches... I just wanted to test the theme containing SDTaskmanager on another machine (XP, too, equal hardware) and the cpu and memory meters disappeared again... I am about to give up on this one...
