New to WindowsBlinds - keep getting an error

Every time I try to download a windowsblinds skin I get the following error: "Missing Skin Data: there appears to be no .uis file in this skin. Are you sure it is a WindowsBlind skin?" What could be wrong? possibly these are not WindowsBlinds skins? ...I don't know how to tell???

Normally, WB skins have a .wba extension. If they do, they are just renamed .zip files. If your files have a .zip exension, open one up and see if there is a .uis file in there.

I get the same thing. Instead selecting the open option when downloading, save it to your hardrive. Then either double-click it or add it from the Skins tab in the display properties.

The skins I am trying to get are on this site. Like the first one I tried was AZULX950.wab... These files do have the .wba extension. The problem is that when I click on "DOWNLOAD" it automatically starts the download, I don't get the option to OPEN it or SAVE is to my hard drive; that's really weird??? Any more suggestions?

Okay. To get around this, right-click the link and select "Save As".

right click on the "download" link and chose "save target as". Save to a location of choice, then use the add button in WindowBlinds to use them.
