In a random map with champion setting set to "None" will the A.I. be smart enough to avoid researching champ-related techs? I'd like to try out a no-champ game, but not if it means further crippling the A.I.
I think it'll still do the research, but bear in mind that's how you get Tireless March, very useful spell.
Also, there really isn't that much champion research to do, so it won't hurt them too badly if they do.
