A clarification

If you notice, today, there is a number 666, next to my name, in the Top Authors. I want to make it clear for you that has nothing to do with me personally
Not that I care or I believe such things, (like 666 = the number of the beast), but some of you may believe and make strange thoughts.

It is just a thread about this coincidence and I like to know how many of you believe in such things.

Very funny adni. In answer to your question, I do not believe such things. The "beast" and the number 666 were just the rantings of crazy John. This guy was banished to a deserted Greek island, left to fend for himself, and eventually went mad. Then started hearing voices and wrote down everything these "voices" said.

In terms more relevent to us, it would be like reading the rantings of one SpikeTaggar here at the WinCustomize messageboard and believing that what he said is the "word of God".

Hey motion,
It wasn't a deserted Greek island, but a very beautiful, full of green and with a very special atmosphere island with the name Patmos.
I don't know if he get mad or got enlightenment, nobody can answer this, we only can make guesses.

Who is Spike Taggar?

hey, what if this thread ends up having 666 posts?? wouldn't that be wierd?

I think humans are soooo funny. One day, just for a joke or for spite, some leader will use those numbers and will end up distroying everything. Talk about a self furfilling fantacy!!!

Human crack me up!!

Well, I work in a Casino, and if you add up all the numbers on a Roulette wheel, it comes to 666, prompting some to suggest that the game is the work of the devil. Judging by the amount people who leave the casino with no money every day, I tend to agree.

Hang on, does this mean I am in the pay of the Devil?.......
Cool!!

Hi adni.

When I used the term "deserted" I didn't mean like a desert with just sand dunes and hot hot sun. I meant deserted as in "no other people around".

When there is no one else around to talk to, you eventually start talking to yourself. (even though you probably think you are talking to someone who is really there.) This is usually a sign of the beginning of madness. (read, insanity)

I know that today Patmos is a beautiful place. I'm not sure it was a couple of thousand years ago.

P.S.

Adni. I know that Patmos is now a beautiful place. When I was 15 I travelled there and spent many wonderful days on the beaches at Grigos and Kallikatsou.

Unfortunately, I don't thing Saint John had as much fun as I did!

motion,
I understand what you mean, but who knows...who really knows

Boxxi,
I know about the 666 when adding the numbers of roulette, I also know that 21 is the number of antichrist, (Black Jack).
Plus, there are no windows in casino's to let the LIGHT come in and that is the temple of luck, which luck, has nothing to do with God, you know... So, be careful

Ive watched too much discovery channel to beleive any of that stuff though keep up the kickass work !

This whole numerology mumbo jumbo. It is just some sort of wierd safety net to make religeous people feel better. Same thing with the cross and symbolism. A realm I will not step into because I do not want to cause any trouble.

Ok, so what about #13 or even #23? 13 supposed to be bad luck. 23 is the number of doom.

Supposedly. buildings seem to be, or used to be, supersticious about having 13 floors. So they went from 12 to 14.

How often do you here or see the #23. Probably none right now. After this post maybe a bit more than usual?

Just my rambelings
