New category?

How possible would it be to add a new category listing for MEDIA JUKEBOX?
http://www.mediajukebox.com

Then hopefully we can get some of the community skinners here to make some nice skins .

As a fellow Media Jukebox user, it would indeed be nice if there were more skins for it (and if the skins were located here. Hey, I like to use WC for my on-stop skin shopping )

They offered me a free registration if I'd do a skin for it. Its XML based script, and I already use MusicMatch Jukebox. Don't know if I even want to try.

Yes, that is something we did.
That is our method of expanding our product to the skinning community. We started of using Treetrog and Alexandrie and have had a few others already create some skins.

What have you got to loose really? Creating the skin is not that hard. A little confusing at first, but then gets really easy. We have pages to help with it as well as having contacts like myself or Nikolay for questions.

MusicMatch? Come on (not harping ok ). You are getting a free liscense to one of the best players around.

Did I mention free?

Have you checked out all the features?

YOu have to atleast give it a try

I am not here to change your mind on what player to use. I just would like to see you and some of the other skinners make some kool skins.

jcg, (and anyone else who is looking for a good jukebox program), speaking soley as a user and not a skinner. You may want to give Media Jukebox a try. If MusicMatch works for you great! I initially tried MusicMatch and switched to Media Jukebox. IMHO, I find it nicer, faster, with excellent features, and and good UI design. They've also got a nice online user community much like the one here which is one of the things that attracted me to Media Jukebox (I never could find a MusicMatch web-board, assuming it exists)

Okay enough software pluggin...

howdy ya'll.

Also from a software perspective, on my w2k box, when I uninstalled MusicMatch for a clean install of Media Jukebox, I got an incomplete removal message stating MusicMatch had left a bunch of files dormant and still sitting on my harddrive...over 35 to be exact, plus 3 registry entries.

Not exactly a program looking out for your interest on efficiency and space (HD) management...

my two cents...and I expect change

also, it appears that the xml does not take any tweaking just to skin the app...although there are something like 35 individual image files to create, for the "mega"-size...and I haven't looked at the minimized size yet, but it should be way less.
