What is the difference between DesktopX and WindowBlinds?

I am thinking of getting the object desktop, but I am curious to know what the differences are between DesktopX and WindowBlinds. Can someone tell me the the differences, and/or advantages to either?

Thanks,
Spencer

DesktopX is a shell replacement, meaning it replaces your desktop with a new, highly customizable one that supports cool animations and plugins and stuff.

WindowBlinds skins all of your windows, menus, buttons, etc.

The two products compliment each other nicely.

just a small correction: DesktopX is NOT a shell replacement. it does not replace explorer.exe, it runs on top of it. LiteStep, SharpE or geoShell are examples for shell replacements.

I knew I would get called on that. Thanks for clarifying, moshi.
