Can anyone answer one or both of these questions?
1) I recently bought desktopx and put in my serial number after downloading the enhanced version. But in 'desktop configuration' if I click the 'about' button it says my copy is unregistered. Any ideas?
2)In the desktop x tutorial, in the section 'Making Objects' subsection 'Transparency' tab: 'alpha blending' the appearance window shows 2 additional features not present on mine. What does this mean? Are there features I am lacking here?

as a starter for 1, make sure your current copy is not running before you install the enhanced version.

thanks, but I have even uninstalled what I had there and downloaded the enhanced version again, put in my registration number but in the 'about' window it says 'unregistered'. Am I missing out on any functions if I am running an unreg version? That's my main concern.

soooo do other people's registered copies of desktopx say 'registered to (name)' in the 'about' window?

Mine says unregistered and was installed from the Component Manager. I have a feeling that something went awry but am not sure if it is the installer not doing what it should or DesktopX not reading what it should from what the installer set up.
