Message Board Speed

I just did some tweaks to the message board in hopes of speeding it up.

Just curious if anyone is noticing a difference?

Actually, yes. It seems 300% better...

Hum... Not consistant. Sometimes it's way fast, sometimes itr takes a second or two before anything happens...

Part of the inconsistance may be related to the high cpu usage on the server. But if this method I am using appears to be faster then I can apply the same princible to the Libraries. And hopefully by doing so the CPU usage will go down which should then help with the consistancy.

Yes, as paxx said, sometime is faster, sometimes not.

Hmmm, difficult to tell. I've just started using skinbrowser 0.98a and it does seem faster. However, network response is not immediate, there are still pauses. It's not my connection 'cause I just downloaded this skinbrowser at 6KB/sec on a 56k smooth as anything.

Strange. I just made a post here from skinbrowser. It appeared on the thread but when I refreshed it disappeared...spooky.

There they are! Not in skinbrowser though...scratch the new version, it's still not updating properly. I'll stick to using the web based message board.

I'm going now before my posts take over...

Actually, right now, its incredibly slow. WC's Message board ASP reported a timeout. It seems like traffic around here grows exponentially.
