WindowBinds 3.31i: New controls skinned

Just a head's up for skin authors:

WindowBlinds 3.31I now on Object Desktop supports skinning of spinner controls and mouse overs on radio buttons:

3.31i
-----
-UpDown(spin) control skin support
-Mouseover support for combo boxes
-Shadows on fonts can have an X & Y coordinate setting
-Checkbox & radio buttons can now have pressed & mouseover
states.

Radio button layout:
normal, mouseover, pressed, disabled, selected, selected mouseover, selected
pressed, selected disabled
Checkbox button layout:
This is split into 3 parts (non-checked, checked, mixed) of
4 images each (normal, mouseover, pressed disabled).

See www.stardock.com/temp/z.wba for a rough and dirty sampling
of the above.

You HOPE so? If you don't know, what are we to do?

Write your own .def files! Or just go back to using good old notepad and guessing the attributes from dumps of wblind.dll. Here's something I dug out earlier - the spin controls are [UpDown.Horz] and [UpDown.Vert].

I think spin controls are something like spin doctors.

i would really like some kind of WB lite, that only skins the window borders and the caption buttons. would be fun to skin for me.

Moshi, you don't have to skin everything if you don't want to. Any elements you leave unskinned will simply use the Windows Classic look.

well my problem is that SkinStudio refuses to work without crashing every two minutes and my idea of that WB lite would have a new more logical code, so it can be done easily edited with a text editor. also there would be no point releasing a not even half-executed skin for WB and without the comments it wouldn´t be that fun.

doing a whole skin without help from SkinStudio is just not worth the effort for me (call me lazy, but i did that once for Blacksteel and i know what i´m talking about ).

I have no Idea what anyone is talking about, I have attempted many times to understand how to create a skin, but it is so confusing that I cannot even begin to fathom how to do it. I have used tutorals and still do not understand....

However I find this discussion very interesting, indeed.
