Desktop X problems

hey everyone

im just sick of my grey windows design and im thinking about reinstalling desktop x, the problem is that it messes up my msn. When desktop x is not on, i dun get any pop-up for the emails or when someone comes online and that gets me mad lol, to get em back i had to delete every stardock files and reinstall windows... sucks eh? anyway i just want the win xp style (i use windowblinds for the windows), Is there a way to fix that? or is the new version fixed? i used desktop x 1,1

you should give the latest version a try, and make sure you have the latest version of trayserver. it sounds like that may have been your problem.

you shouldn't ever need to 'reinstall windows' to get things working again if doesn't work out. in your case, you probably just needed to unload the trayserver before un-installing dx. if it doesn't work out again, try emailing [email protected] before doing anything
