Stardock emails

I have tried to get the links to the new Skins Browser via the Stardock Support page, but once again, no response. Are you guys just really, really busy? This seems to happen anytime I try this, I have to submit and then email for days before I get a response. The last time it took a week.

You can get the skin browser on WC home page. There are 2 links. One for an update (if you are already a subcriber) and one if you want to subcribe. Its right under the featured skin.

That's the email thingie I was talking about. I submitted there already, it said it found my records and that they will be emailed. No such luck. This went on for days last time, I'm just wondering if it will this time. Grrrr. Server overload?? Dunno.

Poddytat - is your email address the same one you entered when you bought the subscription?

This is really quite strange! I have used that email thing on the support page several times over the past few weeks and I get the email within a few minutes everytime.

Have you used this link:

Yes, my email address is the same, and I've already done the cross-reference thingie. I don't know, maybe they don't like me...I can be a pest I guess.

If it works, it's an automatic response so it should happen more or less immediately... If it's not working it'll require some human help so send an email to stardock...

Some ISP's seem to have blocked email from Stardock due to some idiot reporting them for spam. This may be a case of this. If you can pop into stardock chat (irc.stardock.com) or post on the newsgroups (news.stardock.com) they may be able to check into this possibility.

Poddytat, email [email protected] If you do not receive an automatic response, then your ISP is blocking our email. There is one "Spam aware" agent that has us as a spam mailserver. Even though we contacted them, and they took us off the list, it takes about 90 days for the ISPs individually to remove the block (that is assuming that they actually update their lists other than adding blocks). If you don't get the sutomatic response, email again saying that you didn't get it. I can then look up your info and email it to you via a Hotmail account. Which is funny when you think about it. Most Spam in the world comes from Hotmail, yet they are never blocked...funny...makes me want to sing Monty Pythons "Spam song"..Spam Spam Spam Spam....
