Desktop X security password...

anyone out there who knows if there is any default password for the "switch to edit mode" password? i set mine, but i forgotten it...

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Stardock\DesktopX has a Password value. It's not the actual password. I think if you rename it to say PasswordBak DesktopX will allow you to change back (haven't tried it).

Oh, you should use the Registry Editor ("regedit") for this. It works much like Explorer.

Regedit works well, But when i have to screw around with the registry i like Registry Crawler better

Probably, if you delete the password value in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Stardock\DesktopX you should be able to restart DesktopX and it will be OK. If that doesn't work, delete the entire key and reinstall DesktopX.
