People using object bar on win 98/se OS

Can anyone actually get the bar working as it should in Winxp with object bar?? i am having several problems one being one of my themes just decided to stop working even after uninstalling and reinstalling. And why is it that the button that allows you too see the many icons runnin down in right hand corner of the systray not work, the button does absolutely nothing just points itself opposite way and another problem is that the shit program only shows a maximum of 3 programs running in the systray while others are actually running. Does anyone know how to solve these probs??

When you uninstalled and re-installed did you manually delete the object bar directory? that's what I had to do. It took me a couple tries, but I finally got it working right.

John, I have OB working quite well with 98SE. But please remember that it is not XP, only a replication with some themes. What XP features do you not have with OB,I have more features! I have never had a theme just stop working so more info would be required to solve that particular problem. Yor problem with the systray can probbaly be easily solved by running "trayserver.exe" at startup. Right click the OB icon in the tray and choose General Options, then the Startup tab. Make sure disable trayserver is not checked. As far as there only being 3 icons in tray... You will actaully have to modify the theme. Right click on the taskbar, not on a icon, choose properties. This opens the theme editor. On the tree in the top left panel click on System Tray. Choose the Behavior tab and click on the Configure Filtering button. You can have the systray function in just about any way you could imagine.

Notes:

If you going to use expletives to describe OB please do so to yourself.

Please let us kow what version of the program you are using.

Unistalling and reinstalling is usually not the best option especailly if you don't know what you are doing. Take the time to try and figure the problem out first. Complaining with what looks to be very little effort on your side doesn't compel people to want to help you.

Mine is in: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Stardock

You should be able to activate it by right clicking the OB icon in the tray and following the steps above. If the OB icon is not in the tray then right click on the taskbar and choose properties. When the Theme editor opens go to: File / General Options / Startup Options.
