Quoting Thorny264, reply 5Does it really only use one core? Is there a reason for this as I thought even the lowest end gaming pc's at least use 2
It's not your PC, it is the game...the engine used by Sins is single-threaded...understand that engine was released with the original sins in 2008, and propably was in development for 3 or so years before then...so we are looking at a 7 year old engine, and 7 years ago there just was no reason to make such a game multi-threaded...
Having a processor with decent processing per core is simply a must to run a game like this at it's best...
Sorry What I meant was given that the lowest end gaming PC's use dual core then wouldn't any game be build for that but if it's been 7 odd years in making than I suppose so, Is there any plans to make a patch that utilises further cores? (no idea if that's even possible )
Ok so besides getting a higher clockspeed per core on next CPU and probably a higher cache too, Would putting it on a SSD help at all? and would there be any sort of RAM limit for this game?
