I wish we had a little heart emoticon, and maybe a little broken heart emoticon too, and maybe one that cries, and a thumbs up ......

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Nooooooooo, there is only soooo much space? Well, that one with a red beard maybe. (he looks like a mean shrink) I didn't want to kick anyone out. I just thought if I could get my emoticon to cry for me (virtually) I wouldn't need to do that real time on a day like today.... and that would be a huge savings on my contacts. And sometimes when I type a big smile I wonder if it might really mean I was laughing when I was only really liking something big time! And the vomit one has his place, only the quick use of him could really hurt someone's feelings. I haven't really seen anything here that bad (but he does toss cookies good).

M vote on the icons that could go...
1) I think these two are redundant. We cold keep only one of these pairs:

Hmmm. I dunno. I never equated wearing sunglasses with throwing up

Good point. In which case we should have an icon that does bed spins.

I was feeling guilty so I was afraid to look in. There are some redundancies there, and those would be easy to let go (one of). What I think about the vomit one is that if I take it upon myself to give negative feedback, I think I should take the time to type out the words. I would say here is what I think and here is why and it is only an opinion, after all. In other words here on the message board he finds his place. But sometimes you find him giving some feedback to a skinner (and lots of times it seems to come from someone just passing through. I think it should be easier to be nice and harder to be mean. And I for one am not knowingly going to give negative feedback without due thought and effort at explaining my position. (you see, I really feel guilty about suggesting a change that could mean something might get deleted) Real live people gave 'birth' to these little treasures, after all!

HEH... I was afraid to come look at this one, too! It was a hard day. If I had a crying icon I would use it right now. I have a community at MSN. There is a birthday cake icon. If I had one of those I would use that too. Sometimes you just have to make a stand and walk away (but I have another name there and I am still making it nice).

There's a book I woudl buy if I saw it: "The Art of Stand Taking". Cause I can't seem to get it right (no one cares) and I don't see that many examples.

Come to think about it... That is one thing I really appreciate about this place. You folks seem to do it fine! Maybe if you see beauty, and create it you understand things...OK. Off the soap box. Back to "LIFE".

don't mind me

How about having two rows of smilies along the bottom of the message box, instead of the side. There would be far more room for extras then.

Good idea Splash, the I could scroll the animated vomiter off the page so I won't have to see it constantly out of the corner of my eye while writing a comment...
