'Login Failed' error

When trying to play the latest beta for Elemental: Fallen Enchantress I get the following error message every time I load the game -

 
"Login Failed. You may have missing or stale registry data. Try running with the command line parameters /username 'myusername' and /password 'mypassword' "

The game will not load past this message and after pressing "Ok" on the error pop-up message, it automatically closes out of the game.
I've already submitted a ticket to support about 3hours ago and still haven't gotten a response, so hopefully a Dev reads this or something and can help address the issue.

it could be your firewall blocking the updated program from accessing the internet, OR being offline when you attempt to run FE.

That wasn't the case at all.

Support directed me to a solution though, thankfully. I'll post it here for those that still need it.

 

1.) Right click on the desktop shortcut and select properties.

2.) In the "target" line where it has the game file locations, add /username "myusername" /password "mypassword" to the end, replacing the parts in quotes with your info

 

It should look something like this when you're finished:

\FallenEnchantress\FallenEnchantress.exe /username b_rad 136 /password *****
