Look here is my situation, I'm no good with skinning as in making my own. I have no patience and too many kids smothering me. So I would like to make a request on a windowblind with xp support, with a theme of rock n roll.

On a personal note, if one of you skinners could come over to my house and sit with me and go step by step then i could get it down packed. That would be nice

Wincustomize and most other skinning sites try to respect copywrite's of other artists. To make a skin theming Rock and Roll would be *possible* but anything *band* related would be a violation. Hence no Sports themes, i.e. hockey, baseball etc. Maybe someone will step up and create a generic theme with guitars/music notes or something related.

Thank you digitaljames for the info, I have though gotten permission from numark.com for the use of pics off from thier site. As well as the recording studio i used at college. Just still waiting for those from a friend. I am start will making a wallpaper for my computer. So if your interested in making a windowblind theme please let me know. I can get permission pretty much from most music sites. I was a one bigtime disc jockey back in the 80's and with all due respect i usually don't get much hassle about the use of alot of music stuff.

digitaljames meant that if you were wanting a skin featuring a specific artist that it would be a copyright issue if photos of the artist were being used.

I looked at the site you mentioned, and it seems you were more interested in making a skin that looked sort of like studio equipment. Am I correct? If so, then there really is no problem. *s*

yes the main idea was with stereo equipment sylva, Personally all throughtout the web there are way too many "band" themes out there still for w98 and below. Many of them you can download at thier websites. the theme that i was looking for was my profession back in the 80's. But let's not get into that. I've been puttin together a decked out wallpaper for my computer but since this is my first time to attempt on doing something like this, i have a hard time like 3d effects and etc. I went and downloaded paint shop pro 7 try and use version which is offered for free (in case some of others such as myself in which money is slim these days). so if anybody wishes to make up a windowblind theme i got the pics, but i still am going to make this wallpaper, I figure its time for me to finally see if i can actually be something of an artist.

I won't make any promises, and I can't do the XP features, but if you send me the pics (at [email protected] )I might be able to come up with something for WB. Once the main part of the skin is done, we could probably find someone to help with the XP stuff.
