Multiplicity 2 BETA & Mouselook (BUG)

Heya devs,

The multiplicity 2 beta introduces a bug not present in previous versions.  While playing a video game that uses the "mouselook" feature (e.g. WoW, Everquest, ETC) the PRIMARY computer has an abnormally fast movement speed.  This behavior does not manifest on the secondary computer.  This behavior is very similar to what happens with SYNERGY, except that with synergy it happens on the SECONDARY computer.

Unloading multiplicity resolves the problem, but if it is re-enabled, the problem returns.

Chiming in that I've seen this problem as well, but not in every game. I've also noticed that if the game has a mouse cursor (menus, most of the time in MMOs, etc) the mouse behaves normally, but the second you switch to mouselook the sensitivity is off the charts.

Are you able to list a few games it has happened in so we can reproduce it internally and investigate?

Sure, from stuff that I've tried recently:

Exhibits the problem:

  • Awesomenauts (Mouse cursor this time, the game does not have mouselook)
  • Lord of the Rings Online
  • Orcs Must Die 2
  • The Secret World
  • World of Warcraft

Does not exhibit the problem:

  • Alice: Madness Returns
  • Battlefield 3
  • Blacklight Retribution
  • Rift
  • Saint's Row The Third
  • Skyrim
  • Spec Ops: The Line
  • Tribes: Ascend
