Does the site feel faster?

Does the site feel faster?

Ok, we put quite a bit of work into the site optimizing code. So now we want to know if it paid off.

Does the site feel faster to you?

Much faster guys and gals! Way to go. I have DSL, yet this site always used to make me feel like I was still on dial-up. Now it actually feels like I'm on DSL!!

Applause! Applause!

After a while of browsing around the site and messageboards, it's now a lot faster for sure... I'd say threads load in about half the time on average compared to the old version.

Great job coders

The site is too fast now. I can't keep up with it. Could you slow it down again?

I'm kidding, of course. The site is very noticably faster for me. I love it. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

There's no noticable difference for me, although I actually put that down to my crap ISP, who probably employ monkey's to push buttons, but the new site skins, and features are quite bloody lovely indeed.

I saw that extra l just before I sent it (I really need a new keyboard!).

I just wanted to say I really like the ability to distinguish between a post I have opened already, and a post I have not. It doesn't make that much dif right now with this snappy fast new site (but it surely will during those slow times). A detail I really appreciate! Thanks.

Can't tell, though the page is rendered in 0.24 seconds, which definitely is a massive improvement.

Now that I cruised around a bit, checking things out, I would have to say YES! The site is faster!

You should see how fast it is via the skin browser.
