Must kill the CHUDS!

The net seems to get more and more full of what I call chuds (cannibalistic, humanoid, underground dwellers). These people tend to be highschoolers or college students that have received so many wedgies that they take out their frustrations on the rest of us.

I see them when I play games, and I really see them when you see a news item on some of these tech sites. That's where htey really come out. Doesn't matter what the news item is, they'll just come on and rip on it.

A chud usually has no actual skills themselves. They just like to put things down.

They're the d00d from IRC that tells people who crappy some program is because they tried it for 5 seconds 3 years ago. They're the weenie on a given site that tells people that htey should use some unrelated piece of software instead.

They're the "l33t" gamer who uses some simplistic rush strategy in an online game and calls everyone a "noob" who objects to having a game that took 20 minutes just to set up be settled in 3 minutes.

I'm pretty thankful that there are very few chuds that hang out here. But oye, they really annoy me.

I used to feel sorry for geeks in highschool. But now, I think more of them need more wedgies, it's the last night in real life that their obnoxious behavior will have physhical consequences.

i think it's time to start giving these chuds wedgies untill they can't take it anymore and decide to hide under a rock and never come out, after what you just said i'm going out and find me a chud and give him a wedgie.

Oh this is great, now we are sending out hitmen to bully to the socially underdeveloped! These people don't need the threat of physical violence, they need to be shown examples of proper behavior. Let's just hope their parents haven't given up on them!

Actually, I doubt these people are the geeks we had at school.
Actually, I'm pretty sure they are the bullies who learned how to use a computer. Same behavior, different medium.

I tend to put them in the same category as those that throw old tires into streams and band trees (that is where you strip the bark all the way around a tree in a band, almost always kills the tree). My son and I have a name for them, Barbarians.

like paxx said, they are not the geeks, but they are the bullies, the loser's in high school who thought they were tough guys. The ones with really low self-esteem, so low in fact that they can only show themselves online because they are protected.

I dunno, I've met some of these chuds in person. They never picked on actual humans in real life.

They almost all look identical in my experience:

White
Short hair (usually)
quasi-"gangsta" dress
swear a lot
short and thin

I.e. they're not like the comic-book guy from the Simpsons, that's a different type. Like to talk tough but if anyone ever called them on it in real life, they'd wet themselves.

I have met a couple of these chuds too. I don't like them. Forgboy, your description reminds me of a russian guy in one of the James Bond 007 movies. Goldeneye, I think. He's the one who always shouts, "I am invincible!" He gets frozen by liquid nirtogen in the end. . But I don't think there is anything wrong wit the word n00b.

That woman was a dork to think of synonyms of butt. Or maybe she has implants that can be removed and she doesn't take her butt with her.
