Game is still super laggy when it comes to great battle

I've always loved this game, but ever since original this problem troubles me greatly. I understand Trinity is based on old engine and doesn't utilize the latest technology, but this time I thought they updated the engine!

I would like to see large scale battle, but the game just doesn't allow me to do so......I really liked this game...I know it is not likely, but maybe there's a chance they can update the game to make it run better?

I'm running it on I7 3820, 8G RAM, GTX580, 1920*1080, no AA, graphic set at all High(not Highest), me vs 3 AI, and it lags, greatly.

Hmmmmm

I got I7920 OC to 4GHz with 6GB of ram and I can play 10 player random map 98 planets with max fleets and trade port spam with almost no lag. 1920*1080 and all settings on stock.

Before I did my OC (2700 GHz) back in diplomacy(trinity) lag was unbearable. 1920*1080 All settings on lowest

I am running a Phenom II 955 @ 3.7ghz with 4gb of ram. 1920x1080, and I barely lag in SP games.

However whenever I'm in an MP game, about 2hours in with 6+ it starts to become unbearable. I can have my friend who's with me drop, and once the syncing is gone my lag literally drops off the face of the planet.

If you play MP game will play as fast as slowest players hardware allows.

Go to menu and networking. You will see statistic of ping and CPU load of each individual player.
