Stardock will be closed for the week starting on Monday, June 29th and we will be returning on Monday, July 6th. We will be monitoring support tickets and forums during this time but expect delays in responses during this time.

The launch of the game is just around the corner. Ironclad has gone quiet in these few days before the official game arrives. What are we expecting on launch day? Will a 1.0 patch arrive at midnight pacific? Will the game be renamed in Steam to remove the 'beta' from it? Will the collectors editions be made available?
The sky will be torn asunder and descending from the open void will be an inverted pillar of black lightning. The surface folding inward infinitely, the thunderous roar will be absolute, and the touching of the tip to the Earth shall be the mark of man and sin.
In other words, not entirely sure what'll happen, but you can at least expect a zero day patch and official game. It'd be more efficient to update the beta and remove the words 'beta', but no guarantees.
The fact that they have said that many desync bugs have been smashed to oblivion and that we haven't got a new beta suggests that they are going ahead with the June 12th launch. With that said, I hope the balance and what not works out and that the desyncs are in fact fixed.
As for Captain Obvious, I would say we should see it before June 13th.
