i cant get windblinds to load

i dl windblinds and its in my program files but i cant get it to show up on my display or appreance. i have windows xp pro, and its the shareware version on windblinds. please help

If it installed okay then under the 'appearance' tab in the display properties dialog you should have a drop down list of skins to choose from. Just choose one and click 'apply'. When you download skins and double click the wba file, they'll be added to that list.

there is no drop down list. i unistalled then reinstalled it.any patches that might help?

I don't know of any patches, or issues with XP.

In the appearances tab of XP I think the drop down list (Windows and Buttons) is there even without Windowblinds. Do you have a button on the right that says 'Wiindowblinds' on it?

In Task Manager, under processes, is wbload running?

no there is no button, how do i get it to run in the task manger?

Task Manager just shows you what is running on your system. If wbload is not listed in the processes then Windowblinds is not running.

Maybe you should try emailing their tech support or posting your problem in the Windowblinds newsgroup. news://news.stardock.com/stardock.windowblinds
