Derek, is it possible to fix the fortify square bonus not working bug by streaming a fix?

Fortify bug report. Is it possible to fix this bug by streaming? It would be great if this could be fixed before the next patch, as it it kind of a cool ability which currently doesn't do anything, and could possibly lead to more interesting combat squares in combat.
