Artifact Effects Do not Stack

pretty much as explained in title

noticed with me having one matter compressor artifact that my credit income jumped to show the 25% percent increase in trade goods

then i discover another matter compressor on my dwarf planet Pluto :P the credit income rate does not change to show increase so i can only assume that my artifact effects do not stack....

should they not stack

i mean two compressors are better than one right???

The artifacts by themselves are quite powerful usually. If you started stacking them it could get a little out of hand.  I think it's untended that your empire reverse engineers or replicates the artifcats. Sort of like the vasari recreating phase inhibitors but not understanding how they work. When they lose the original more for competitive purposes they "lose" all knowledge and current use of what they have already copied / used.

....Never knew you could get multiples of the same artifact. Never happened to me before. o.0

Yeah they aren't supposed to stack. You already learned how to compress matter from the first one, physics doesn't let things get any smaller just because you have two. ;) Does serve as insurance in case you lost the planet with the first one though.

Well if you had two matter compressors it would be a more effiecent line to compess the items thus doubling ships able to be compressed and increasing income :D
