.icl,0 extraction?

I have yangge's skyline2006 icon package. How do you extract the icons please?

my icon extractor app. says that the file contains no icons? ~ maybe using a different extension? (i.e. not .ico)

why does the extension have: "comma zero" on the end of it when viewed in "icon packager"?

most grateful for any help offered - thank you!

Why are you trying to extract the icons?

Do they not work in IconPackager?

Most icon extraction apps pull the icon from the exe.

You don't need to do that

Just go to C:\Users\Public\Documents\Stardock\IconPackager\[packagename] (if you have installed the package).

If all you have is the zip file, just open it and go to the .ico files

I HAVE: C:\Users\Public\Documents\Stardock\IconPackager\Skyline2006\skyline2006.icl

the icons are in the ".icl" (FILE)

NO .zip! (FILE)

folder also contains "Skyline2006.iconpackage", (obviously)

icons show in "icon packager" app. OK

Other icon packages I have installed DO place the icons in the "packagename" folder as you have indicated

It sounds like thats an ICL using iconpackage then.

ICLs are library files which contain all of the icons.  The ,0 means use the first icon.  ,45 would use the 46th icon.

many thanks for that info!

what extension are the ICONS using inside the .ICL ?    (THEY AREN'T .ICO's) ~ "icon extractor" won't extract them!
