Idea for Corsev Battlecruisers

I was thinking about Corsev Battlecruisers and how they can board enemy ships and what not. I figured if they can take control of ships why can't they invade planets? I always feel like bombarding a planet is a somewhat crude since I bet there is farmland. I figured If you had a Corsev Battlecruiser you could send troops to the surface of the planet and leave all the pre-existing structures on it like the Infrastructure and Logistic/Tactical Slots. Just my idea of a way to take control of a planet without bombs or broadcast centers.

I feel like invasion would be something best done in Sins II, because the only way to do it as the engine stands now would be to make it an ability that deals a DoT to planet health.  Unfortunately however, there is no way to transfer infrastructure.
