Donna Summer is gone. Just heard it on CNN... she was only 63!
She was one classy lady - I remember dancing to her music.R.I.P
Woah, I just read it on Yahoo 7 news and you could have knocked me over with a feather, such was the shock.
Now there was one superbly talented lady and a singer whose voice simply melted into my senses and my heart.
Yup, I'll admit it, I shed a tear or several when I read the sad news, she was one of my all time fave artists.
I didn't like the disco era that much, was more into hard rock, but Donna Summer made it bearable with her unique class and style.
Fortunately, she left us her great music in a number of brilliant albums, of which I have most, if not all, so she will never be truly gone, well not in this household at least.
RIP Donna Summer, you gave us so much and you will be sadly missed. :'(
Indeed... even Barbara Streisand praised her voice. Terrible loss.
High praise, from one who has such a great set of pipes of her own.
Sadly, we all have to go one day, even the greatest divas of all time.
R.I.P Donna may your music live on forever and the angels will sing your praises .
