smart-button question

I decided to add a couple smart buttons to the skin I'm just finishing. The URL one seems to want to put an IE icon there instead of my button image.

Is there any way around this?

The bright blue E looks awful on the dark grey and green skin borders. (and it's too big)

from memory, Alexandrie has produced one of the only known smart button skins. this was for the GUI olympics, and had a single letter name, i think Z.

i looked at this briefly, and i beleive it was using a skin grahpic for the smart button. i think it still used this grahic for the quick launch menu smart button as well. if so, and this holds for the URL smart button, then looking at how this skin does it should provide the answer.

i cannot currently check any of this though since i cannot get to any of the libraries, but the message board seems soft of OK. strange, but thats the internet for you

I couldn't get the smart buttons to show up and it was Alexandrie that helped me fix the code to make them visible. When they did become visible and the blue IE pacman was there instead of the button I used, I freaked and she said you can't change it. I was hoping someone else had found a way around this....

I think that smartbuttons dll is an older one which does not support changing it. I haven't found how either.
