In all seriousness I think it would be awesome if their was a feature where new players can join a multiplayer game already in progress. I don't know how many times I thought "How cool it would be to simple right click on my friends profile and hit "join game" when they were playing sins."

Granted it could cause some people who join a late game to be in a rather unfavorable situation but it still could be fun for a group of casual gamers, and is a good way to help deal with sudden dropouts and having a lousy AI as a team mate.

It was one of the things I liked about Aliens vs Predator, I could just quickly join a game that my friends were playing without having to go through all the lobby setups and waiting, granted though some of the situations I wound up in were rather bad but it was worth it. :)

This is one feature I absolutely love about Civ V...nice thing to is that if someone is dropped, they can still rejoin...

Of course, I doubt this will ever happen...they have enough problems with desyncs as is and if they can't even get those under wraps then they aren't going to be able to pull this of...

A shame too...be very nice...
