Msgboard Chatroom Marathon

Msgboard Chatroom Marathon

Honestly, I would go to IRC for this kind of stuff, but if any of you have been there recently, everyone seems to be...inactive. Sooooooooo, out of boredom, I'm turning a thread among this msgboard into a chat room, anyone care to join? =P.

It's Sunday night, and I'm bored out of my mind. There's much to do, but I'm too lazy to get around to do it. My boyfriend is busying trying to get Visual Studios to work so I can't talk to him on the phone....and we can't seem to talk over the phone anyways...it'll just be silence mostly.

New Semester started........so anyone alive out there to join Elffie in this chat marathon? =P

Let's try not to let this post hang for over 2 hours, hm? =P

I swear I think you are a real kitty kat! hehe

see, just more proof that you really are a minx. i can see it now, you pop up unexpetadly behind the programmers, looking all sweet and innocent. just as you have lulled them into a false sense of security, you start asking them to do work for you
you probably flutter you eye lids on occasions to, to really unsettle them

oh boy! hehe
well I stay all *cough* sweet & innocent *cough* by hiding behind my machines or I'd be getting into alot of trouble...
/evil laughter

I only leave the safe grounds to go beat up the programmers when required to do so, but usually the batting of my eyes gets me the job done (seems most of them don't leave the safe grounds much either) hehe
(when that don't work I have a really mean right hook)

well, why do you think i am called feline?

it is the mixed ansestry of leonine and dracoforms showing through

as for being sweet and innocent, that is the wonderful thing about ladies. they can be sweet, innocent and sereen regardless of the things they get up to

/me considers it a delicious paradox

Feline...Lordy...I have a warm, furry, *shimmering* kitty with its 4 legs wrapped around me, floating through the ethers on a dragon, with the moon passing through the hole in a spiral staircase, listening to Natalie Merchant 'Motherland'. This is absolutely the best place I've been in days. I'm going to stay on this ride for as long as I can.

During that last little forest romp, a little, tiny, tick bit me. Apparently it was the only little, tiny, tick for miles and miles which was infected with Lyme. Now, so am I. So...hang on with those delicious paws, crank up the psycho-esotheric chamber, I've got an Orb and I'm not afraid to use it

hole in the staircase??? what hole in the staircase???

the gaps between the steps are supposed to be there. i was refering to the hole in the planer

/me is very prowd of the toroidal chocolate planet

perhaps you should bite the ticks before they bite you next time? hope you get over it soon.
oops, planer should be planet
Sorry. I forgot toroidal. Bit of a fever at the moment. Practically delusional

It was just such an interdimensional gateway (hole) opening at an un-oportune moment in Dirk Gently's staircase that caused a couch to become inextricably wedged halfway up the stairs, in 'The Long Dark Tea-time of The Soul'.

I love Douglas Adams. Kurt Vonnegut had a similar phenomenon, the Chronosynclasticspaceinfundibulum, or something like that
Reply #1360 Top
hehe - I think it was the Chronosynclastic Infindibulum... coming unstuck in time... must be a very disorienting experience.

Yeah, that sounds like it. I think I was getting a Marvin the Martian thing mixed up in there.

Space modulator! (Marvin the Martian)

Flying is merely jumping at the earth and missing.......

Werewolf, you were bit by a tick infected with Lyme? That can't be good!! Hope you get better soon!

Thanks KarmaGirl. That's pretty much exactly it :_) Fever, aches and pains, not that big of a deal, but that and the meds have kinda kicked my energy level to around 0
Reply #1364 Top
Uck. That sounds nasty. I'll have to remember to look out for ticks from now on!

OH NO! I'm talking to myself again!

/me *LIKES* home cooked fruit cake

if rescuing damsels in distress is going to become a habit, then perhaps i should take starone's advice and get a cloak.

but what color?

decisions decisions

Sorry for disappearing Had to take a little nap. This thing is totally wiping me out. Have never experienced this kind of thing before. Itsa bummer.

Feline...Get a cloak which shimmers and color shifts under various lighting condition. I saw one in a mall somewhere. It looked sharp.

migrane's will do that to you. but at least i get to go to work with one, so i have something to take my mind off the pain and tiredness
Reply #1371 Top
That's gotta suck. I wish I could help.

Ok, now that the cat is outta the bag (boy, I'm not even going there ), what do you guys think about the chat option for skin browser? Is it going to make this Marathon Thread obsolete?
nah...this thread will remain. There has always been a #wincustomize, but it's hard to get very many people on there at once since we are on different time zones.

Yay! I've been saved by Feline!
Color for your cloak? How about a shimmering black one with a tie dyed lining? With a nice, soft, fuzzy piping on it so that it won't be itchy scratchy.

there is a chat option in skin browser? perhaps it is time i had another look at it.

for some reason it times out a lot on my home connection, and it is a bit big for my work machine, where i want a small window tucked away in the corner.

however, this thread will never die!
as JavaBrain says, we are all in different zones, and this evens that out nicely.
