Honestly, I would go to IRC for this kind of stuff, but if any of you have been there recently, everyone seems to be...inactive. Sooooooooo, out of boredom, I'm turning a thread among this msgboard into a chat room, anyone care to join? =P.

It's Sunday night, and I'm bored out of my mind. There's much to do, but I'm too lazy to get around to do it. My boyfriend is busying trying to get Visual Studios to work so I can't talk to him on the phone....and we can't seem to talk over the phone anyways...it'll just be silence mostly.

New Semester started........so anyone alive out there to join Elffie in this chat marathon? =P

I'm starting to feel old.  My daughter's 5th birthday is this Saturday.  It's really hard to believe my baby is that old already!  I bought her a train shaped pinata for her party.  Luckily, the store have all the candy on sale for Halloween, so it wasn't too hard to find stuff to fill it with!  Mmmmmmm...halloween candy.......

Sigh, nothing ever goes right does it (big moan coming up).

Yesterday was the last day of my holiday, and, being sunny, I decided to venture out into the Peak National Park to take some photos. Got to the end of a road junction and the engine stopped. Nothing. Zippo... Called the RAC (rescue) who are supposed to respond within 30 mins - ha! 2hrs 20mins and several apologetic phone calls from them later the guy turns up. Ended up being towed all the way back to the nearest garage to home. Seems the cam belt had snapped. I will find out today if it has done any damage to the engine - they tend to bend valves. The only good thing is the engine was on tickover when it went. About a minute earlier it had been up to 6500rpm and any damage would have been major at those revs.

Such is life. I just get my credit card paid off and overdraft cleared and this happens. I am destined to be poor, it's my lot in life PLUS I HAVE TO USE THE BUS > > >

I need chocolate. Lots of chocolate...
