Oooh, hiding is good! But - I saw a few posts later that Elfkura already spotted me - so, any hiding would be moot? So, I'll just offer scritches and not that it's because I told the Elf that I'm never seen on /any/ 'Marathon' threads!

I also think I need to stay away from discussions of such things as ball gowns! My roommates might start getting ideas again - and that makes me scared.

/me has visions of coming to the chocolate planet someday and finding everyone charged by the tickle and hug lasar and stuck all in a clump by static electricity. Or maybe feline stuck to the volcano, OC stuck to the fence, KG stuck to the bush by the java stream, WS stuck to a low cloud, WW caught badly with strands of fur stuck here and there, JM stuck to a book stuck to a music note... and fuzzy stuck to the door trying to come back home to us!

Aspirin doesn't seem to work on me. I've taken so much drugs and medication as a child, some things don't seem to work on me, one of which I believe is aspirin

Make some strong extract of new ginger root and drink it hot, like tea, regularly every hour. Then take some extra time for sleep, and put some extra blankets on so you sweat a little.

Elf is a druggy

I was too. Pain meds were awesome but my doc wanted me off of them since I was up to the strongest they can give you.. Wohoo, it's 7times more powerful then Morphine.

GM, giving home remedies? I think I have some of that stuff in my herb books which I haven't looked at for the longest time.

WS, many of my friends came from mainland China. When I was sick, that is what they would do for me. It was amazing the things they would do with food... whatever they did for me that way usually helped. I just don't know the finer points of their craft... the ginger cure seemed most common, though. They tried to explain it to me... the way it got simplified was "this will help give you strong blood, make your heart strong". Now-a-days, it is my comfort cure.

as i wrote fuzzy wuzzy, all we need is a static electricity holder!
