Honestly, I would go to IRC for this kind of stuff, but if any of you have been there recently, everyone seems to be...inactive. Sooooooooo, out of boredom, I'm turning a thread among this msgboard into a chat room, anyone care to join? =P.

It's Sunday night, and I'm bored out of my mind. There's much to do, but I'm too lazy to get around to do it. My boyfriend is busying trying to get Visual Studios to work so I can't talk to him on the phone....and we can't seem to talk over the phone anyways...it'll just be silence mostly.

New Semester started........so anyone alive out there to join Elffie in this chat marathon? =P

Let's try not to let this post hang for over 2 hours, hm? =P

Oh, a popularity attempt? Now, why didn't I think of that?

well... there were all under different names. The Q&A, the Joke Marathon (two of them I remember)... the lyrics (I don't really consider that one)... you know?

I guess, people might want some sort of recognition... never thought of it that way.... see.... I'm too pampered by everyone here

Well, this is mostly a fantasy thread.... it is full of original thought, humor, friendship, and chocolate. I am kind of glad the joke marathon thread is there, people go there to put stuff that really doesn't fit here. Funny stuff, and a lot of it is not original... but humor that is worth repeating. (at least it was like that last time I looked) They both have a place.

Why close it? People enjoy it for the nostalgia as much as anything. With the page system the way it is, the only drain is the page it loads.

If something natural that happened that caused the thread to get lost, that is understandable. But to manage it closed... well, you can overmanage things, you know? Maybe it is just a quirky way I am, but I tend to leave when things get like that.

I plan to be here basking in the warmth of the memories, the assurance of the tradition, and the company of the friends. And when it is lost, who can say. It is a delicious thing. I don't even want to think of it otherwise.
