WB3 skin update problem

The way WindowBlinds 3 automatically downloads & installs a new skin is quick and much simpler... but, I've found that when I download an "updated" version of a skin that's already installed, it automatically creates a second file which does not open. For example, I had the "Granite" skin already installed and recently downloaded the "Granite" update. Windows Explorer now shows two "Granite" files in the WindowBlind folder: the original "Granite" and the new one which appears as "Granite(1)". This second "Granite(1)" however, doesn't appear in the main WB window and thus can't be selected. (Still with me?) I've tried deleting the original "Granite" skin - to no avail. Should I re-name the updated version and leave the original "as is"...or what? Anyone help with the "correct" procedure?

Martin,

Are you sure the skin didn't actually update in your WB library and retain the same name 'Granite'. You can rename the .wba but it won't actually update the skin name, to do that you would have to use Skinstudio or open the .uis and manually change the name.

If you want to make sure you have the newest version of Granite:

Delete the skin from your library using display properties.

Open Windows explorer and make sure the Granite folder is gone from your Windowblinds folder. Delete it if it is still there.

Open diplay properties and use the add button. Navigate to where you placed the downloaded 'new granite' .wba file and open it.
