Seriously though....for medical purposes I can see this being a boon for Doctors without Borders. That and being able to stream their results to nearby hospitals and keeping an open comm link to them. Something they don't have too much of right now as far as access is concerned.
And it's a mongrel of a rectal thermometer, to boot.
