purchased beta and i cant play it on steam

whats the go..

 

i purchased it through stardock, downloaded an old steam account and it tells me i dont have the game even though i have the serial number to it..

 

what a crock!!!

 

stardock should stick to stardock and leave silly steam alone... steam is nothing but hot air!!!

 

disappointed.

Errr... one you didn't even bother to even check if you did everything correctly.

Two being a raging douchebag doesn't help your situation. Rather than display your rage. You should at least try to ask for help in a polite manner. It's called support for a reason.

Actually steam is vaporized water and not hot air. Looking at it from a thermodnynamic point of view there is a huge difference. Hot air could not be used to generate huge amounts of power like water is.

After installing steam you have to register the key with steam, you can do so by opening the library an left-clicking on "add a game" in the lower leftern corner. In the dropdown menu select "activate a product on steam", the menus will lead you through the rest. Of course you'll need your key for this, using copy + paste from the email or the stardock page should work.

If you were to read the sticky, it would tell you to click ADD GAME in steam, add the serial number that is listed in your Stardock games information (not your CD key), and you'd be set.

 

But that would be info you'd find out only if you read the sticky.
