How much email do you get in a day?

How much email would you say you get on a typical day and how much of it is spam?

For me, I get around 400 to 600 email each morning with about 300 of it being spam.

Depends on the account:
Personal: about 50-60 email, 90% spam
Account 2: about 150 email, 50% - 55% spam
Account 3: about 30 email, virtually no spam
Account 4: about 100 - 150 email, about 5% spam

Spam..Spam..Spam..Spam

Hum, my personnal emails, I get about 40 emails a day, about 39 of them are spam. On my work email, from about 15 to 20 emails, I get no spam at all.

Question: can websites check your preferences and grab your default email address? Would it help bring spam down if I put a bogus email addy as the default one?

I don't get too many, but then again, I get LOADS of mail to my Yahoo account, because that's the one I use whenever I fill in a form on the net. No doubt it's been sold many times over.
Paxx: I don't think e-mails are harvested from here because I don't get any spam to my prime e-mail address.

Most of mine comes from a guy called Jafo....moderating walls....some guy called DavidK spams me with similar messages...and BoXXi....and others as well...
Probably only about 20% junk mail, though...

I get a lot of spam, and most of it isn't addressed to me (how do they do that?) but I bounce it back to the sender as undeliverable with MailWasher.

About 50/50 now that I have been using the block sender. Don't bother going to the bottom to be taken off the list anymore. On the news the other day, it mentioned that doing so is sometimes a gimmick to re-activate the mailings and thus more lists. Haven't dared to look at my block sender list though (personally could care less since I don't have to look at them). Maybe eventually they will disappear altogether. In Texas, they have started a thing through an agency of paying them 2.25 for 3 years to stop soliciting calls with a $1,000 per incident for an offender. Too bad there isn't anything like that for junk email.

Countless SPAM through the MSN (aka hotmail now) account although much of it is filtered out and stored in a folder I don't open. Not much SPAM through the mediaone.net account.

Personal: six or seven, don't get much spam, three or so a week.
Work: a couple, not much, no spam.
School: rarely, never used that address, so the only thing I get is useless school spam.

Anyway, I'm triggerhappy with Mr [del], so spam doesn't live long.

Hey Jafo, is it my imagination, or is the spelling getting better on this site? Maybe it's because there aren't many Aussies posting....

Normaly I get 40-60 e-mails dayly, (many of them are asking me how to use a WB skin or IconPackage!) and of course, I am receiving lot of spam and viruses !!!! (I am not using any more any antivirus program, I am just careful).
I must admit that answering to all this e-mails in English is pain in the #^*@
