Will mod be delivered though Steamworks also?

I'm curious, partially with Skyrim starting to deliver mods this way also, and how easy it is to keep those up-to-date, if this function will be available to us In Rebellion

The Devs said they are considering it, but they don't like that it automatically forces you to install an update to mods, without any sort of prompt. This could cause issues with official updates (mods are usually out of date for a while after patches), plus some modders may release updates that they didn't really test, causing issues (skyrim had a lot of invalidated save, inventory disappearing issues as a result of this automatic mod installer apparently).

That said, even if they don't use it, the mod folder is now a lot easier to find, as it is now in the My Games folder in My Documents instead of an obscure folder behind a hidden folder, so more people should be using mods than ever before.

Noob mod installer friendly, noob modder friendly not.

It's not as dangerous as Skyrim, but you can still have hours long games in Sins, and people still break stuff.  With Sins, there isn't any built in mechanism for the kind of control you'd need to make this work.  You'd be playing a game, save, come back an hour later, and some joker has changed one whole file, uploaded the change, and borked three hours of progress.
